The Address & The Vision

An Address Worth Coming Home To

DLF Garden City is a plotted residential township on Raebareli Road in Lucknow, developed by DLF Limited, a company whose history in Indian real estate stretches back to 1946 when Chaudhary Raghvendra Singh set up the DLF Group in 1946, Community introduced in Delhi 22 urban colonies. That same institutional lineage carries into Lucknow, where elegant living and careful urban design define DLF Garden City Purseni Lucknow, a home paradise that blends contemporary comforts and natural beauty on 248 acres of expertly planned property.

Life here is built around the idea of land as a starting point rather than a finished product. Houses in DLF Garden City may be custom-built to suit each individual's tastes and needs, with owners able to express themselves through the design of their spaces on plots that serve as a blank slate for architectural imagination. Wide internal roads, planted avenues, and a share of land kept open for parks give the township a settled, garden-suburb character rather than the density typical of apartment-led development.

The design brief for the township draws on the same planning vocabulary DLF has used across its other city-scale developments in India. DLF has been designing iconic properties throughout India, an expertise clear in the master plan of the Garden City project, with carefully planned homes catering to the demands and tastes of a huge variety of consumers. Underground electrical cabling, a planned stormwater drainage network, and paved pedestrian paths alongside internal roads round out a base level of infrastructure meant to support independent construction on each plot.

The Raebareli Road corridor is at an inflection point, with the road itself under widening and Lucknow's metro network under active expansion toward the SGPGI belt, both of which are steadily narrowing the distance between this address and the rest of the city. For a buyer looking to build a home on their own terms rather than move into a standardised unit, that combination of freehold land, township infrastructure, and an improving approach road is the practical case for this location today.

DLF Garden City remains an address for those who want to build rather than simply move in, on a plot within a township carrying the DLF name in a corner of Lucknow that is still filling out its skyline.

Location / Address

A Defining Address

Raebareli Road, Mohanlalganj, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh · Purseni · Lucknow

DLF Garden City sits on Raebareli Road in the Purseni-Mohanlalganj stretch of south Lucknow, an axis that has steadily filled in with gated townships and institutional campuses over the past decade. The corridor runs past the Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences, a landmark that anchors the area's identity as a healthcare and residential quarter distinct from the older, denser core of the city. Raebareli Road itself is being widened into a wider carriageway as part of Lucknow's broader push to decongest its southern approaches, a shift that is gradually changing how this part of the city is read on the map.

The specific value of this address lies in its position between the settled convenience of central Lucknow and the openness of a still-developing corridor. The township is ideally placed on the town's development corridor and has smooth access to the most important routes, just like the Lucknow-Agra Expressway, making downtown Lucknow within half an hour. That combination of an expressway-linked address with room for a self-contained, low-rise plotted community is what continues to draw buyers who want land rather than an apartment.

Beyond the Project

Infrastructure & Growth

Raebareli Road widening

The Lucknow-Raebareli Road corridor is being upgraded to a wider carriageway with flyovers and railway overbridges, a change expected to significantly cut travel time into the city.

Charbagh-SGPGI metro corridor

An proposed metro route between Charbagh and SGPGI, running toward Mohanlalganj, is among the corridors planned by UPMRC to extend rail connectivity into south Lucknow.

Vigyan Path outer ring road

A proposed 250-km ring road connecting Lucknow with surrounding districts is intended to ease cross-city traffic and improve access to peripheral residential corridors.

UP State Capital Region planning

Lucknow and five neighbouring districts, including Raebareli, have been brought under a State Capital Region framework aimed at coordinated, long-term infrastructure and land-use planning.

Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport

Lucknow's international airport remains the city's primary air link, keeping the Raebareli Road corridor within a manageable drive of long-distance travel.

Why Invest

Compelling Reasons

1

DLF's national development pedigree

DLF Limited carries a development history going back to 1946 and has built residential, commercial, and retail projects across multiple Indian states, bringing that scale of experience to Lucknow.

2

A 248-acre integrated township

The scale of the development allows for a mix of plotted residential land, internal roads, and dedicated open spaces, rather than a single isolated project on a small parcel.

3

Freehold, build-to-suit plots

Buyers get land rather than a fixed floor plan, with the freedom to design a home suited to their own needs, budget, and timeline.

4

Raebareli Road frontage

The township sits directly on a corridor undergoing active widening, positioning residents to benefit from improving road infrastructure over time.

5

Proximity to SGPGI and Medanta

Two of Lucknow's major hospital campuses are within a short drive, a practical advantage for families and for long-term rental or resale demand.

6

Landscaped, low-density character

A meaningful share of the township is kept as open, planted area, giving the address a garden-suburb feel distinct from denser apartment developments nearer the city core.

About the Developer

DLF Limited

DLF Limited was founded on July 4, 1946, by Chaudhary Raghvendra Singh in New Delhi, originally as Delhi Land and Finance. The company's first completed project was Krishna Nagar in East Delhi in 1949, followed by 22 urban colonies across Delhi including Model Town, Rajouri Garden, South Extension, Greater Kailash, and Hauz Khas. When the Delhi Development Act of 1957 restricted private development within the capital, DLF pivoted to Gurugram in Haryana, acquiring land that would become one of the country's most significant urban corridors. Today DLF is the largest publicly listed real estate developer in India by market capitalization, with operations spanning 15 states and 24 cities.

DLF's defining move was the development of DLF City in Gurugram beginning in the mid-1970s, transforming what was then a largely agrarian district into a globally connected corporate and residential hub. In 1985, DLF Qutab Enclave marked the company's formal return to large-scale development. That trajectory led to DLF Cyber City — one of India's largest integrated business districts — which today houses hundreds of multinational occupiers and generates substantial recurring rental income through DLF Cyber City Developers Limited, a joint venture with Singapore's sovereign wealth fund GIC. The company listed on Indian stock exchanges in July 2007 through what was at that time India's largest IPO, raising approximately Rs 9,000 crore.

Across its history DLF has delivered over 185 real estate projects covering more than 352 million square feet, with an annuity portfolio exceeding 45 million square feet in commercial and retail assets. The portfolio spans super-luxury and luxury residential — including The Camellias and The Dahlias in Gurugram — alongside IT parks, special economic zones, retail malls such as DLF Mall of India in Noida, and hospitality assets including The Lodhi hotel in New Delhi, which received one MICHELIN Key in 2025. The DLF Golf and Country Club in Gurugram, opened in 1999, features an 18-hole Gary Player championship course and has been rated India's best golf course by the Asian Golf Awards multiple times.

DLF approaches development as a long-term ecosystem rather than a transactional land business. The company's 'Partners in Progress' model for land acquisition, introduced under Chairman Emeritus K.P. Singh, brought farming communities into the development process as active participants. Rajiv Singh, the current Chairman, has overseen a sustained expansion of the annuity business from Rs 15.5 million in 2007 to Rs 29,000 million by 2019 and continued growth since. DLF's rental business has been conferred 21 Sword of Honour awards by the British Safety Council — the highest tally in the world — and the company holds LEED certifications from the US Green Building Council for tens of millions of square metres of built area. The stated pipeline for the next four to five years encompasses a Gross Development Value of approximately Rs 1,145 billion.
