The Address & The Vision

An Address Worth Coming Home To

DLF Central Square is the commercial component of DLF Hyde Park Estate, the developer's flagship township in Mullanpur, New Chandigarh. Positioned as a hub of SCO (Shop-cum-Office) and booth plots, the project is designed to serve the retail and office needs of a growing residential catchment rather than stand as an isolated commercial strip.

The intent behind Central Square is straightforward: bring everyday commerce within walking distance of homes. For entrepreneurs and small business owners, that means visibility and footfall from a township that already houses independent floors, villas, and plotted residences; for residents, it means shops, offices, and services close at hand.

The architectural cues borrow from the colonnaded, walk-up retail tradition associated with Connaught Place in New Delhi, with covered walking corridors and open frontages built into the layout. SCO plots allow for construction up to G+2 floors, giving owners the flexibility to combine retail at ground level with office or residential use above.

New Chandigarh's growth story, backed by GMADA's planning framework, wide internal roads, and improving connectivity to Chandigarh, Mohali, and Panchkula, is what makes a commercial address inside Hyde Park Estate relevant today. The township already has operational infrastructure, a functioning clubhouse, and an established resident base, which reduces the usual lag between a commercial launch and actual demand.

For those looking to build a business presence within a recognised DLF township in the Tricity, DLF Central Square is worth a closer look.

Location / Address

A Defining Address

DLF Hyde Park Estate, New Chandigarh, Punjab 140901 · Mullanpur · Mohali

Mullanpur, better known as New Chandigarh, is a planned extension of the Chandigarh Tricity developed by the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority to ease congestion in the older city and create a modern, well-laid-out urban district. The area is defined by broad roads, dedicated green belts, and institutional zones set against the Shivalik foothills. DLF has anchored one of its earliest and largest footprints here through Hyde Park Estate, a residential and commercial township spread across the locality. This positions New Chandigarh as one of the more closely watched addresses in the wider Chandigarh-Mohali-Panchkula corridor.

DLF Central Square occupies a commercial pocket within Hyde Park Estate, fronting the Dakshin Marg and Madhya Marg arterial roads that thread through the township. PGI is reachable in about 12 minutes and Punjab University in around 16 minutes, while the Rajiv Gandhi IT Hub is a 33-minute commute, placing the address within practical reach of both institutional and professional catchments. Being embedded inside an established, gated residential estate also gives the commercial plots here a built-in neighbourhood customer base from day one.

Why Invest

Compelling Reasons

1

RERA-registered commercial address

DLF Central Square carries a Punjab RERA registration (PBRERA-SAS81-PC0244), giving buyers regulatory transparency on a commercial plot purchase within an established township.

2

Backed by DLF's decades-long track record

DLF, founded in 1946 and credited with developing 22 major colonies in Delhi before expanding across 18 states and 28 cities, brings a long-established development and delivery framework to this project.

3

Embedded within a live, gated township

Central Square sits inside DLF Hyde Park Estate, an already-inhabited residential township, giving commercial plot owners a resident customer base from the outset rather than having to build one from scratch.

4

Colonial-inspired retail design

The layout draws on the colonnaded, walk-up retail character associated with Connaught Place in New Delhi, with covered corridors and open frontages built into the commercial plots.

5

Arterial road frontage

Positioned along Dakshin Marg and Madhya Marg, the project benefits from direct access to two of the key roads connecting New Chandigarh to Chandigarh and Mohali.

6

Flexible SCO format

SCO plots permit construction up to G+2 floors, allowing owners to combine ground-floor retail with office or additional commercial space above on the same plot.

About the Developer

DLF Limited

DLF Limited was founded on July 4, 1946, by Chaudhary Raghvendra Singh in New Delhi, originally as Delhi Land and Finance. The company's first completed project was Krishna Nagar in East Delhi in 1949, followed by 22 urban colonies across Delhi including Model Town, Rajouri Garden, South Extension, Greater Kailash, and Hauz Khas. When the Delhi Development Act of 1957 restricted private development within the capital, DLF pivoted to Gurugram in Haryana, acquiring land that would become one of the country's most significant urban corridors. Today DLF is the largest publicly listed real estate developer in India by market capitalization, with operations spanning 15 states and 24 cities.

DLF's defining move was the development of DLF City in Gurugram beginning in the mid-1970s, transforming what was then a largely agrarian district into a globally connected corporate and residential hub. In 1985, DLF Qutab Enclave marked the company's formal return to large-scale development. That trajectory led to DLF Cyber City — one of India's largest integrated business districts — which today houses hundreds of multinational occupiers and generates substantial recurring rental income through DLF Cyber City Developers Limited, a joint venture with Singapore's sovereign wealth fund GIC. The company listed on Indian stock exchanges in July 2007 through what was at that time India's largest IPO, raising approximately Rs 9,000 crore.

Across its history DLF has delivered over 185 real estate projects covering more than 352 million square feet, with an annuity portfolio exceeding 45 million square feet in commercial and retail assets. The portfolio spans super-luxury and luxury residential — including The Camellias and The Dahlias in Gurugram — alongside IT parks, special economic zones, retail malls such as DLF Mall of India in Noida, and hospitality assets including The Lodhi hotel in New Delhi, which received one MICHELIN Key in 2025. The DLF Golf and Country Club in Gurugram, opened in 1999, features an 18-hole Gary Player championship course and has been rated India's best golf course by the Asian Golf Awards multiple times.

DLF approaches development as a long-term ecosystem rather than a transactional land business. The company's 'Partners in Progress' model for land acquisition, introduced under Chairman Emeritus K.P. Singh, brought farming communities into the development process as active participants. Rajiv Singh, the current Chairman, has overseen a sustained expansion of the annuity business from Rs 15.5 million in 2007 to Rs 29,000 million by 2019 and continued growth since. DLF's rental business has been conferred 21 Sword of Honour awards by the British Safety Council — the highest tally in the world — and the company holds LEED certifications from the US Green Building Council for tens of millions of square metres of built area. The stated pipeline for the next four to five years encompasses a Gross Development Value of approximately Rs 1,145 billion.
