DLF Promenade Goa Mall (~7 Lakh Sq Ft) Set for Completion in August 2026; Opening Expected by October–November 2026

DLF Promenade Goa on Track for August Completion, Fall Opening

DLF has achieved 50% leasing on Promenade Goa and expects the mall to be completed in August, with opening two to three months thereafter. The announcement came during the company's Q4 FY26 earnings call in May 2026.

Project Scale and Location

DLF Malls, the retail arm of DLF Limited, is launching its first shopping centre in Goa with the Promenade mall located in Panjim, the state's capital. Spanning over seven lakh square feet, the mall will house more than 300 brands, including Indian and international labels across fashion, lifestyle, food and beverages, home décor, and consumer electronics categories.

Leasing Progress

At the halfway mark on leasing commitments, the mall shows steady tenant interest ahead of its soft opening. Goa presents a strong opportunity due to shifting demographic patterns, including an influx of residents from major metros like Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Delhi. The relatively affluent local population and lack of organised retail infrastructure make it a promising market for premium retail offerings.

DLF's Retail Expansion Strategy

DLF is expanding its retail portfolio in FY26 with plans to launch a shopping mall in Goa and two neighbourhood plazas in West Delhi and Gurugram, adding nearly 14 lakh square feet of retail space. Three retail properties are expected to be operational within this financial year.

The neighbourhood plazas will include boutique cinemas with limited seating, fitness and wellness facilities under the brand Thrive by DLF, co-working spaces, artisanal cafés, and a curated mix of food and beverage outlets along with both international and homegrown brands.

Developer Track Record

DLF Group, founded in 1946 by Chaudhary Raghvendra Singh, is one of India's leading real estate companies. With over seven decades of excellence, DLF has transformed urban landscapes with innovative and sustainable developments. The company boasts a diverse portfolio, including residential, commercial, and retail properties. DLF's commitment to quality, customer satisfaction, and timely delivery has earned it a trusted reputation.

Currently, DLF operates eight retail properties and controls a retail space portfolio of 45 lakh square feet.

Post-Pandemic Retail Recovery

The organised retail sector has rebounded significantly after the COVID-19 pandemic, with increased footfalls and strong sales across DLF's existing malls. Resilient domestic demand continues to drive this momentum, particularly in lifestyle-focused retail. The food and beverage segment remains a high performer, currently accounting for about 20–22% of the company's retail occupancy.
